In its 35th year, the WSU Ski and Gear Swap is the best opportunity on the Palouse to buy or sell new or used outdoor equipment.
DESCRIPTION
The WSU Ski and Gear Swap brings vendors in from all over the Northwest to sell items at a discounted price. In addition to a great selection of gear, there will be opportunities to purchase passes to local ski and snowboard resorts.
LOCATION & EVENT PARKING
The Ski and Gear Swap is located in the Hollingbery Fieldhouse adjacent to the WSU Football Stadium. Access is via Stadium Way and Colorado Street in the heart of the WSU Campus. Free event parking can be found in the yellow parking lot located just south of Beasley Coliseum.

ENTRY FEE & DRAWING
Entry fee is $1.00 per person per day. Children under the age of 12 are admitted free. You will receive a drawing ticket for multiple drawings held out the following times:
Friday December 4th: 7:30pm and 9:00pm
Saturday December 5th: 1:30pm

SELLING EQUIPMENT
Individuals wishing to sell equipment must bring items to the Fieldhouse on December 4th, between 4:00 - 5:00PM. A charge $0.75 per item for sale is required to enter merchandise into the Swap. If the merchandise sells, a fee of 16% will be assessed. Unsold equipment and checks may be picked up the week immediately following the event or at the Outdoor Recreation Center between 12:00 PM and 5:30 PM Monday-Friday. Items and checks not picked up by Friday December 11, 2008 will be considered abandoned and donated to the Outdoor Recreation Center.
The Outdoor Recreation Center will be handling sales tax issues on all sales. Sales tax will be charged to the customer on top of the set sales price. The Outdoor Recreation Center will collect the tax and pay it to the state office.
All sales are final and no returns will be accepted.
