Vendor Information
Thank you for your interest in the 38th WSU Annual Ski and
Gear Swap. Registration will open September 19, 2012. Please feel
free to contact the Ski Swap coodinators with any specific
questions.
FEES

Vendors will be charged a flat rate
of $50.00 plus 13% of all sales. For those who do
not wish to pay the $50.00 flat rate, a fee of
$0.75 per saleable item plus 16% of gross
revenue will be charged. University Recreation will handle
all sales tax issues and remit tax to the State of Washington.
Sales tax will be charged to the customer in addition to the marked
price; this is included in the 13% fee. Vendors are also offered
the opportunity to donate gear worth $50 to waive the flat rate
fee, and must be marked on registration form as such. Checks will
be issued during the event takedown. Note: Regardless of
attending and selling gear or not at the Ski Swap, Vendors are
still responsible for the $50 deposit or donation of
gear.
Organizations (For-profit and
Non-profit) that wish to display or exhibit may reserve
table space for $100 per table, which includes a table and two
chairs. Registration and/or table fees may be substituted, at
our discretion, for an equivalent amount of product to be used for
drawing prizes. Electrical service is available for computers,
TV/VCR, and displays.
RESTRICTIONS

The organizers reserve the right to
refuse any equipment for sale that is obviously damaged or in an
unsafe condition. We follow DIN standards as to non-indemnified
bindings and boots, which are made of low-grade thermoplastics.
Non-indemnified items will be refused. All other skis, boots,
poles, accessories, clothing, general outdoor recreational
equipment and sporting goods in good working order are acceptable
for sale items. Vendors assume responsibility for condition and
safety of items supplied. All sales are final and no returns will
be accepted.
